- Performs duties outside thesterile field as patient assessment, coordinates and implementsperfusion procedures and ensures the patient's safety andcomfort. Is legally responsible for any perfusion related problemsthat arise in the Operating Rooms.
- Managespatients in the Intensive Care Unit with Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump(IABP), adheres to approved policies as defined by CMC Dubai, DHCCand the Joint Commission International accreditation standards andcontributing to their development and revision as necessary tooptimize clinical practices.
- The procedurescovered include CABG, valve, aortic aneurysm, heart and lungtransplantation, ventricular assist devices, and neonatal &pediatric congenital defect surgeries.
