    Wood is currently recruiting for a Graduate Planning Engineer (UAE Nationals) to work in our Abu Dhabi office. Graduates will get opportunity to work in the upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas industry as we look to meet our client s needs and exceed their expectations in the conceptual engineering studies, pre - FEED, FEED, EPC and PMC Projects

    • Fresh graduate with an Engineering degree
    • Excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal)
    • Good level of general computer skills
    • Basic understanding of project management principles and techniques
    • Carries out basic tasks to support the maintenance of planning control structures in alignment with approved project Work Breakdown Structure (WBS).
    • Support the maintenance of baseline project plans and schedules using appropriate scheduling software.
    • Assist with monitoring and controlling planning activities through all phases of project lifecycle
    • Develops an understanding of the roles of engineering, procurement and construction functions, and others as required, including third parties, their project activities and their impact on the project schedule and manpower requirements.
    • Support preparation of project plans and schedules in accordance with project reporting requirements.
    • Support preparation of project progress and performance status reports in accordance with project reporting requirements.
    • Support preparation of updates to project plans and schedules
    • Support preparation of updates to project manpower requirements
    • Develops an understanding of the role of the cost discipline and the interface with scheduling to ensure accurate and timely control and forecasting of man-hour budgets
    • Participate in schedule risk analysis as required
