Description

Looking for an assisnant vice president to identify and source deposit business opportunities, formulate and implement strategies and plans to build a solid deposit portfolio balance and achieve the annual deposit portfolio objectives and targets.


Duties & Responsibilities:

Strategy

  • Develop effective strategies to manage client relationships, anticipate client needs for deposits and provide tailored solutions to develop and grow the deposit accounts.
  • Identify targeted corporate clients and high net worth customers for deposits to develop potential deposit accounts.
  • Study the market and client needs in conjunction with the Marketing and Strategy and Organisational Excellence Departments in order to prepare a suitable deposit business strategy.

Management

  • Manage the Deposit section to ensure optimum productivity and delivery of the section's deposit objectives and financial targets.
  • Meet monthly with the Relationship Managers and obtain their feedback regarding gaps and or weaknesses affecting the business, analyse variances of the actual and projected financial deposits and take necessary action
  • Maintain a strong Deposit team through ongoing professional development, with sufficient knowledge, skills, experience and professional qualifications to keep the team current in emerging trends and best practice.

Business Development

  • Establish good relationships with key potential corporate clients and other banks and financial institutions that are critical to present and future business, and subsequently develop these into successful, ongoing business relationships.
  • Obtain information regularly about existing as well as prospective corporate finance clients and high net worth customers from various internal and external sources.

Marketing

  • Implement appropriate publicity and promotions endeavours with Marketing support to establish an identity in the market and with the right banks and financial institutions ensuring the projection of a uniform and cohesive image in providing secure deposits to SMEs.
  • Assess the impact and costeffectiveness of Corporate promotional materials and marketing activities and suggest improvements as appropriate.

Coordination

  • Ensure effective liaison and contact the company's Branches and Outlets to identify suitable business opportunities and centrally coordinate Branch and Outlet activity for corporate clients.
  • Monitor the development and progress of existing deposit deals and ensure quick action in the event of any adverse development.
  • Prepare feasibility analysis and recommendations for the CEO and EVP
  • Commercial on the company's involvement in important deposit opportunities detailing the risks and opportunities.

Educational Qualifiaction

  • Bachelor's Business Management or Finance or professional qualification in Finance
  • MBA would be an advantage

Salary:
From AED37,000.00 per month
