    Role Description:

    This is a full-time on-site role for a Patriot Training Specialist at our Abu Dhabi location. The Patriot Training Specialist will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs to the UAE Patriot customer. The role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure training programs align with customer requirements and company goals. The Patriot Training Specialist will also support other training and development initiatives in the organization.

    The Patriot Training Specialist will provide technical instruction on the Patriot Missile System to the UAE Patriot customer. The Patriot Training Specialist will generate, prepare, and instruct theoretical and practical lesson plans for Advanced Individual Training (AIT) and Basic Officer Leader Course (BOLC) students. Advises and assists with training and support of the; Patriot Brigade (BDE), Battalion (BN), and Fire Unit (FU) personnel. The Patriot Training Specialist must be qualified as a Patriot Fire Unit trainer. The Patriot Training Specialist provides technical assistance and supports UAE Air Defense Forces in its operator training to battery and battalion personnel to maintain, improve, and upgrade skills. Conducts operation and management of exercises utilizing practice scenarios with the Patriot ECS, ICC, and Reconfigurable Table Top Trainer (RT3).

    Daily duties and training includes but is not limited to; Creation and instruction of AIT and BOLC Course content and training aids, FMS software loading, ICC / ECS Tactical Initialization procedures, PDB 8 operational software and hardware capabilities and limitations; Tactical Ballistic Missile (TBM) engagement procedures, Evaluation, Decision and Weapon Assignment (EDWA), IFF mode 5 operations and decision criteria, Air Battle Management Level (ABML), March-order and Emplacement, Communications (COMMO), Radar Mapping, Reconnaissance Selection and Occupation of Position (RSOP) to include Patriot CRG and Remote Launch Operations. Advising Patriot Operators (14A, 14E & 14T) and Maintainers (94S) on Organizational Level Diagnostic and Fault Recognition procedures.

    Required Skills:

    • Must have at least eight years of experience operating the Patriot Air Defense System.
    • Should be familiar with Patriot Technical Manuals & Field Manuals.
    • Must have directly related experience in the Patriot Evaluation Section and Patriot Tactical Operations at the Battalion or higher level.
    • Demonstrated experience with integrated Battalion operations.
    • Demonstrated experience instructing Patriot organizational classes in the classroom and on the tactical equipment or Patriot Conduct of Fire Trainer in the following areas: RSOP/Survey, March Order and Emplacement, System Initialization and Mapping, Air Defense Mission (ADM) against Air-Breathing Threats (ABT) and Tactical Ballistic Missiles (TBM), Guided Missile Reload and relevant Drill Manuals / Gunnery Tables.
    • Demonstrated experience instructing Patriot operator and maintainer classes utilizing RT3 including Console Maintenance and Support, Installation of software updates, System Initialization and Mapping, and Air Defense ABML Generation.
    • Must have successfully completed the Patriot Fire Control Enhanced Operator Maintainer course MOS 14E or Air and Missile Defense Systems Tactician MOS 140E/140K conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) or an equivalent course of instruction.

    Desired Skills:

    • Patriot Master Gunner or Patriot Top Gun course graduate.
    • Experience instructing in a TRADOC environment such as Advanced Individual Training (AIT) or Basic Officer Leadership Course (BOLC) Instructor.
    • Experience in the generation of Defense Design simulations on Tactical Planner Workstation and both RT3 and OTM scripting for ABML testing and evaluation scenarios.
    • Familiarity with utilizing Patriot simulation training devices, such as the RT3, Patriot Multi-Echelon Training (PMET), and Patriot Skills Library (PSL).
    • Experience with Microsoft Office.
    • Exposure to living and working in the complex and diverse region of the Middle East.
    • Experience with Patriot Air Defense System upgrades such as Post Deployment Build (PDB) 8+ software and Warfighter to Machine Interface (WMI).

    Required Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in related field and at least four years of related experience. Experience can be substituted for educational requirements. Must have at least eight years of related experience without a degree.
    • Requires advanced knowledge of Patriot operations typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
