Key Responsibilities:


Coffee Preparation and Beverage Crafting:

Prepare a wide range of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, macchiatos, and more, following established recipes and quality standards.

Utilize various brewing techniques to consistently deliver well-balanced and flavorful coffee.


Guest Interaction:
Greet guests warmly and engage in friendly conversations to create a welcoming and personalized experience.
Provide recommendations to guests based on their preferences and offer insights into different coffee blends and flavors.


Quality Control:
Ensure the freshness and quality of coffee beans by properly storing and rotating stock.
Regularly clean and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and equipment to ensure optimal performance and sanitary conditions.


Menu Knowledge:
Thoroughly understand the coffee menu, including details about different coffee beans, brewing methods, and beverage offerings.
Educate guests about the unique characteristics of each coffee blend and origin.


Upselling and Sales:
Effectively promote special offers, seasonal drinks, and additional food items to enhance the guest experience and increase revenue.


Efficiency and Workflow:
Maintain a smooth and efficient workflow during busy periods, ensuring prompt service without compromising on quality.
Prepare beverages in a timely manner while adhering to the highest standards of presentation.


Cleanliness and Sanitation:
Keep the coffee station, brewing equipment, and serving area impeccably clean and organized at all times.
Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe environment for both guests and staff.


Collaboration:
Work closely with the kitchen and waitstaff to coordinate orders and ensure a seamless guest experience.
Assist in the training of new barista team members, sharing knowledge about coffee preparation techniques and exceptional service.


Qualifications:


  • Previous experience as a barista in a luxury hotel or highend café is preferred.
  • Indepth knowledge of coffee beans, brewing methods, and coffee equipment.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and handle highpressure situations with a positive attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering consistent quality.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Lift and carry items weighing up to 30 pounds.
  • Perform fine hand manipulation tasks, such as handling delicate coffee cups and saucers.
