Theideal candidate will be dynamic, come from an industrial,manufacturing or trade ; Have experience with and be a key playerin the business, able to collaborate with all departments withinthis busy

Mainpurpose of theposition

Responsiblefor the provision and interpretation of management information, andthe provision of financial expertise with the overall objective ofprofit

Typicaljob elements are:

• Financialperformance evaluation, cash flow monitoring and the development ofcorporate systems and controls,
  
• continuedtraining and implementation of systems,
  
• themanagement of assets and liabilities ensuring that key ratios asset by top management are managed and
  
• Day-to-daymanagement of junior finance staff, ensuring finance processing iscompleted within the stipulated time frames and ensuring policies,processes and procedures are adhered
  

KeyPerformance Areas:

• Overallresponsibility for accounts department ensuring that processingtakes place timeously to produce management reports within 6working days of the month
  
• Ensureaccuracy of all books of account including, general ledger,debtors, creditors, inventory and fixed
  
• Preparebudgets and forecasts when
  
• Prepareweekly cash flow
  
• Preparationof monthly management reporting
  
• Preparefinancial reporting packs for
  
• Assistwith both internal and external audit
  
• Ensure alltaxation records are accurate and returns submitted
  
• Ensurethat and assist with processes where stock is controlled, perpetualstock takes are conducted and stated value is
  
• Ensurethat all accounts payable including foreign creditors, are accurateand correctly
  
• Ensurethat all statutory requirements are complied
  
• Manage finance team toensure processing and reporting deadlines are
  
• Preparation of foreign currencyrequirement forecasts
  
• Responsibleto ensure weekly and monthly deadlines are met timeously, whichinclude, month ends, weekly reports, salaries and wages, assetsregisters, vat returns and any requirements of ;
  
• Responsible to ensure financialreporting packs are completed within the required
  
• All tax returns are submitted ontime
