    Description
    Our client, a leading trading platform globally that gives access to stock markets, Forex, CFDs, cryptocurrency trading & other services, is in search of an experienced Anit-Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) to join its team in Dubai, UAE.

    Responsibilities:

    • Implement, maintain, and continuously enhance company AML policies, procedures, and controls to align with local regulations.
    • Investigate and document unusual or suspicious transactions escalated from the global team.
    • Prepare and submit Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs).
    • Work closely with the global team to review and ensure escalated transaction monitoring alerts are in line with regulatory requirements.
    • Provide AML training and awareness programs to ensure employees are current on AML regulations, policies, and procedures.
    • Conduct risk assessments and stay informed about emerging AML risks in the financial industry.
    • Develop effective strategies to mitigate identified risks.
    • Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure timely, accurate reporting to relevant government agencies.
    • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate AML audits and reviews.
    • Address identified deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are taken.
    • Maintain comprehensive records of AML activities and reports for accessibility during audits and investigations.
    • Build trust with key partners and stakeholders, serving as a point of contact for important shareholders.
    • Maintain a deep understanding of the markets and industry relevant to the company.

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or equivalent.
    • Demonstrate a proven track record in the financial services sector.
    • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in dealing with retail clients, particularly in similar financial products.
    • Exhibit experience in establishing working relationships with Regulators.
    • Capable of advising Group colleagues on intricate regulatory issues.
    • Display expertise in successfully managing multiple projects concurrently.
    • Able to work effectively within short timelines in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
