- Develop, negotiate, and manage complex contracts throughout their entire lifecycle, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Ensure full compliance with contract terms, company standards, and UAE regulations and local laws.
- Lead contract negotiations and support the development of procurement strategies that drive value.
- Conduct thorough review and analysis of contract terms, conditions, and associated risks to protect organizational interests.
- Monitor contractor and consultant performance against established KPIs and performance metrics.
- Manage the review, processing, and resolution of change orders, claims, and disputes with transparency and efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and legal to ensure contract objectives are achieved.
- Develop and maintain strong, mutually beneficial relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Implement, maintain, and continuously improve contract management systems and processes.
- Provide regular, comprehensive reports on contract performance, financial implications, and risk assessments.
- Stay current with local and international contract laws, best practices, and industry standards.
- Identify opportunities for process innovation and implement solutions to enhance contract management efficiency.
- Postgraduate qualification in Project Management, Construction, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of extensive experience in contract management, preferably in infrastructure, construction, or related industries.
- Strong, demonstrable knowledge of contract law and commercial practices.
- Proven track record in performance monitoring, claims management, and commercial reporting.
- Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex contractual scenarios.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities with a collaborative approach.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Exceptional attention to detail with a high level of accuracy in contract documentation.
- Proven ability to work effectively in team environments and build consensus.
- Experience in stakeholder relationship management and vendor/supplier management.
- Knowledge of UAE business practices, regulations, and legal framework.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously while maintaining organizational priorities.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze budget implications and cost management.
- Professional certification in contract management (e.g., CCCM, CCMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- Experience with risk assessment and mitigation strategies is a plus.
