ABOUT THE ROLE


The marketing and Business Development Manager will be responsible for overseeing the marketing, communications, business development, and fundraising efforts of ADMAF and the Abu Dhabi festival.

This position will work closely with the Executive Manager for Marketing and Communications and the senior management team to develop and implement marketing and business development strategies that increase brand awareness, drive Ticket sales, engage audiences, expand the institution's reach, foster partnerships, and generate revenue.

The Marketing and Business Development Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of marketing, communications, and business development professionals and collaborating with external partners and suppliers.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communications plans that support ADMAF's mission and strategic objectives.
  • Work closely with the Executive Manager for Marketing and Communications and the senior management team to identify target audiences and develop strategies and tactics to get the word out about ADMAF and drive qualified traffic to those audiences.
  • Manage all the marketing and communication initiatives for the organization's programs.
  • Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution.
  • Oversee ADMAF and Abu Dhabi Festival's social media accounts and websites, ensuring that all content is onbrand and engaging to target audiences.
  • Collaborate with external partners, agencies and suppliers, including graphic designers, social media agencies, videographers, and public relations firms, to develop and implement marketing and communications campaigns.
  • Experiment with a variety of organic and paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, payperclick campaigns, event management, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, and performance analysis.
  • Manage ADMAF and Abu Dhabi festival's database, ensuring that all communication is personalized and tailored to specific segments of the stakeholders.
  • Oversee event planning and execution, including managing branding, ticketing, guest lists, coordinating with partners and other departments, and supporting event logistics.
  • Monitor, evaluate and report the effectiveness of marketing and communication efforts, using data to make datadriven decisions on future strategies.
  • Build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players, agencies, and vendors.
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget quarterly and annually and allocate funds wisely.
  • Develop and implement business strategies that maintain existing sponsorship and increase the potential for new sponsorship.
  • Oversee all sponsors & partnership development functions and resources, ensuring that all functions are executed efficiently, accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Compare the current offering with different business models and current trends and review the current practice and strategy with the Executive Manager of Marketing and Communications and the Executive Director, with the aim of maximizing the value of the offering.
  • Manage and extend a porolio of client relationships, designed to generate new income growth.
  • Identify and develop new relationships and opportunities for corporate support.
  • Provide support and direction in existing highvalue relationships.
  • Research of marketplace for sponsorship, both competitive and business development; research and target companies to develop new prospects.
  • Recommend a strategic approach to the identification of new corporate prospects and instigate and develop relationships with new sponsors.
  • Within agreed guidelines, to instigate and conduct negotiations with companies in the creation of unbudgeted strategic projects.
  • Create, prepare and promote immaculate proposals and sponsorship packages for ADMAF & ADF projects, presenting tailored solutions where required.
  • Match projects and packages to client needs and tailor existing packages as required to ensure successful sales of ADMAF and ADF packages, including sponsorship and hospitality programmes.
  • Develop a good understanding of the full marketing mix, including digital marketing and the use of metrics, and incorporate this in the design of proposals and packages.
  • Prepare sponsorship contracts and letters of agreement for sponsors.
  • Work to best practice methods, for data gathering and provide detailed analysis on key sponsorship success metrics, including digital marketing.
  • Liaise with corporate and business clients to deliver and service the programme of benefits according to the terms defined in the contract; in particular supervise and organise the sponsor's hospitality arrangements and marketing and PR benefits, by liaising with relevant departments.
