Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with engineers and project managers to create detailed drawings and plans for MEP systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components.
  • Utilize computeraided design (CAD) software to produce accurate and precise drawings according to project specifications and industry standards.
  • Prepare layout drawings, schematics, diagrams, and blueprints for construction and installation purposes.
  • Incorporate design changes and modifications into existing drawings as required throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure that drawings meet technical requirements and project objectives.
  • Review and interpret architectural and engineering drawings, sketches, and specifications.
  • Coordinate with other draftsmen and team members to maintain consistency and quality in drawing production.
  • Assist in quantity takeoffs and material estimation for MEP systems.
  • Maintain organized documentation of drawings and revisions for future reference.
  • Adhere to project schedules and deadlines to ensure timely delivery of drawings.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a draftsman, preferably in the MEP or construction industry.
  • Proficiency in computeraided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or Revit.
  • Strong technical drawing skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of MEP systems and components.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Familiarity with building codes and regulations related to MEP systems (preferred).
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and software tools.

Salary:
AED1.00 - AED2.00 per month
