    • Analyze local market trends andcompetitor activity to recommend strategies that keep the hotel aleader in the marketplace through the development of future andrepeat business
    • Develop and maintain customeraccounts to drive business into the hotel and to increasemarket/customer share in all revenuestreams
    • Negotiate room rates and packages withcorporate clients
    • Promptly respond to customerqueries in a professional manner, maintaining high level standardsof service and client relationships.
    • To develophigh yield accounts according to the salessegmentation.
    • To achieve sales target set byhotel.
    • Conduct sales calls to existing andprospective accounts as per areas assigned byDOS.
    • Maintenance of all sales activities andaccount information in the SalesDatabase.
    • Maintain high profile within thetravel industry and foster relationships with accounts in theMarket.
    • Preparation of weekly/monthly reportsas requested Director of Sales.
    • Participationin selected trade shows.
    • Ensure companies ofwhich you are responsible are being tracked in accordance withtheir room night targets on a monthly basis and report as per theguidelines set out by the DOS.
    • Attend weeklysales meetings with the DOS.
    • Conduct siteinspections and host familiarization visits whenrequired.
    • Attend monthly review meetings withDOS to discuss results versus goals in the annual sales call planand company sales strategy.
