Strategic Planning: Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. This may involve analyzing market trends, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and establishing vendor relationships.

Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors based on factors such as price, quality, reliability, and delivery time. Negotiate contracts and terms with vendors to ensure favorable pricing and conditions.

Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services, resolve issues or disputes, and leverage opportunities for collaboration and innovation.

Sourcing: Research and identify potential sources of supply for goods and services, both domestically and internationally. Evaluate suppliers based on factors such as product quality, availability, and cost-effectiveness.

Procurement Process Management: Oversee the entire procurement process, from requisition to payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and standards.

Contract Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and vendors, including terms and conditions, pricing, payment terms, and service level agreements (SLAs), to ensure favorable terms for the organization.

Cost Management: Monitor and control procurement costs, including purchase prices, shipping and logistics costs, and inventory carrying costs, to optimize spending and achieve cost savings targets.

Inventory Management: Work closely with inventory and warehouse teams to manage inventory levels, minimize stockouts and excess inventory, and ensure timely replenishment of stock to meet operational needs.

Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to procurement activities, such as supply chain disruptions, quality issues, or regulatory compliance issues, to minimize the impact on business operations.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing procurement practices, such as ethical sourcing practices, import/export regulations, and environmental sustainability requirements.

Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze procurement data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and areas of concern. Prepare reports and presentations for management review.
