    Description

    Housing Specialist - Make Ready

    Cherokee Nation Solutions Link, LLC provides program management and facilitation; customer service and support; residential leasing and maintenance; shipping and customs; procurement and property management; vehicle leasing and management; travel, mail, and financial management services.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Request, schedule, and attend inspections with Embassy department representatives.
    • Compile inspection findings using company standardized checklists and metrics.
    • Maintain Inspection and Preventive Maintenance Tracking Sheets.
    • Attend meetings during the Make Ready planning phase and make relevant recommendations for consideration.
    • Plan and notify relevant departments of required work schedules based on availability, workload, and deadlines.
    • Coordinate with landlord-provided maintenance teams for timely completion of maintenance works.
    • Attend off-site receiving appointments, ensuring accuracy and completion of work.
    • Report changes or discrepancies in service delivery to relevant departments and direct manager.
    • Coordinate with other departments to align delivery schedules and meet timelines.
    • Assist the Procurement and Property department with furniture, fixtures, and equipment delivery with direct manager approval.
    • Co-ordinate administrative duties related to Occupancy Approval Certifications.
    • Conduct final walkthroughs with Housing Team and resolve any discrepancies prior to residence handover.
    • Support Facilities maintenance team by scheduling and attending routine and planned preventive maintenance requests.
    • Carry out pre-departure inspections and submit required documentation to the concerned stakeholders.
    • Participate in a department-wide schedule of Emergency Phone operational coverage.
    • Attend and resolve after-hours emergency maintenance as required.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Education and Experience:

    • At minimum, must possess an attested Bachelor's Degree.
    • 3 years' experience in Facilities and Building Maintenance Industry essential.
    • 3 years previous UAE work experience is preferred.

    Essential Skills:

    • Must be proficient in speaking, reading and writing in the English language.
    • Must possess a current, valid UAE Driver's License.
    • Must possess exceptional customer service skills.
    • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Teams.
    • Must be detail oriented.
    • Must possess time management skills.
    • Must be able to work with autonomy and without supervision.
    • Must be able to work in a team environment.
    • Must be willing to follow directions.
    • Must be able to work flexible hours as required.
