Senior Site Architect - Dubai, United Arab Emirates - AE Recruitment

We have an exciting opportunity to work on a large scale, iconic, high-rise project in the heart of Dubai.

Were looking for a Senior Site Architect to join the site supervision team and act as the go between, liaising with the client representatives, contractors, site engineers and sub-contractors on all architectural work.

Youll be required to perform the following tasks and should have previous experience in:

• Attending coordination meetings with the project team, client, contractors, sub-contractors and stakeholders.
  
• Support and coordinate meetings with the entire architectural team to resolve and/or clarify any project issues.
  
• Ensure that the project and submissions are on time.
  
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, material inspections, requests for information, etc, in line with the contract and specifications.
  
• Liaise with the contractor and site inspectors to make sure the project complies with QA/QC.
  
• Support LEED Engineer with material approvals and subsequent submissions.
  
• Monitor progress and site activities in liaison with the site inspectors.
  
• Liaise with local authorities regarding any issues

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelors in Architecture
  
• Minimum of 10 years experience.
  
• UAE Society of Engineers membership.
  
• Fluent in Arabic and English
  
• Be able to demonstrate the ability to review construction drawings and documents in compliance with Dubai Municipality and Civil Defense regulations.
  
• Must be proficient in Revit
