Rolevalue proposition / yourtask:

• applythe appropriate test design techniques and guidelines to implementthe required testspecifications
  
• ensuresthat the test spec is up to date as per the change request andestablishes bidirectional traceability and consistency betweenchange request and the testspecification.
  
• initiatethe review and ensures completion and if required get Involved inthe peer reviews,fix the review findings ifany.
  
• baselinesthe test specification as per the configuration management strategyandtool.
  
• considersthe limitations of the test environment during the test spec designandreviews
  
• ensurebi-directional traceability and consistency between requirements(Software Qualification / Software Integration test/Software Unittest ) and test specification (Software Qualification / SoftwareIntegration test)
  
• supportV&V Manager/Architect for creating the Overall Test summaryreport and highlight the risk due to defectsfound.
  

RequiredCompetencies:

• abilityto analyze the Software requirements(SRS), SW detailed design, andgo beyond the explicit requirements and derive the test cases fromit.
  
• abilityto analyze the Software architectures and use them while derivingthe testcases.
  
• handson experience in Software testing (SWE.4, SWE.5, SWE.6) Testing forAutomotive ECUs (Gateway, Vehicle Computer, Telematics, Powerelectronicsbased)
  
• handson experience using the Vector tool chains like VTeststudio, CANOeVectorCast andCAPL
  
• excellentdebugging skill using debuggers & HILenvironment.
  
• handson experience in applying the automotive safety standard likeISO26262 and ASPICEstandard.
  
• familiarwith software development tool chain like ALM, SCM, RQM, DNG orequivalent similartools.
  
• handson experience on UDS Diagnosticstesting.
  
• Goodknowledge on CAN, CAN FD, LINcommunication.
  
• ISTQBcertifications isdesirable
  
• VirtualECU Simulation testing using Vector tool chain is hugeplus.
