Description

The Assistant Finance Manager will collaborate closely with the Finance Manager and other departments to analyze financial data, prepare reports, and provide strategic insights to drive business decisions.

This role requires strong analytical skills, financial acumen, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

Financial Analysis: Assist in analyzing financial data, trends, and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization. Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and projections to support decision-making processes.

Budgeting and Forecasting: Support the Finance Manager in developing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Monitor budget variances and provide recommendations for cost-saving initiatives or revenue enhancement strategies.

Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and reporting standards.

Risk Management: Identify and assess financial risks and exposures, and develop strategies to mitigate potential impacts. Monitor internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure regulatory compliance.

Cash Management: Assist in managing cash flow, liquidity, and working capital to optimize financial resources and support operational needs. Monitor banking activities, reconcile accounts, and oversee cash disbursements and receipts.

Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A): Support FP&A activities, including variance analysis, financial modeling, and scenario planning. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop actionable insights and recommendations for driving performance improvements.

Audit and Compliance: Coordinate with internal and external auditors to facilitate financial audits and reviews. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance efficiency, and strengthen internal controls. Implement best practices and initiatives to optimize financial operations and support business objectives.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the finance team, department managers, and executives to achieve financial goals and objectives. Communicate financial information and insights clearly and concisely to stakeholders at all levels.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. MBA or CPA certification is a plus.
  • Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and Excel spreadsheets. Experience with financial software and ERP systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence decisionmaking processes.
  • Detailoriented mindset with a focus on accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strategic thinking and problemsolving abilities, with a proactive and solutionsoriented approach to financial management.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.

Pay:
AED3, AED8,000.00 per month
