- Sell new and existing exhibitions to achieve strategic and financial targets
- Remain abreast of developments within the exhibition industry, especially sales innovations
- Research and visit competitive exhibitions to source new ideas and market practices
- Contribute to the development of ideas to encourage visitor promotion
- Expand and develop exhibition database
- Manage existing and identify new agents for the concerned show
- Contact government trade bodies for existing and possible new markets to get exhibitors
- Budget management and control to ensure achievement of revenue and NOP targets
- Develop CRM program for key and specific target groups
- Effective target setting, tracking and delivery across all sales bands
- Effective management of sales agents and national associations networks
- Bachelor's degree in a business and or sales management degree or related disciplines.
- A minimum of 7/8 years sales experience in the exhibitions industry and the ability to remain updated on the latest industry market knowledge.
- Strong sales, interpersonal and negotiating skills required.
- Significant experience in a senior role within the exhibitions/consumer/brand sector
- Extensive people management skills and experience
- Experience with working in a pressured working environment
- Speaks and writes clearly and fluently in English at all levels
- Thorough understanding of regional business culture
- Good understanding of the regional consumer market
- Effective communication at all levels internally and externally

Description
We are currently recruiting for a Senior Director-Exhibitions/Project Director for a leading client in the events industry.
The role is responsible in implementing sales plan and strategy in order to maximize financial and non-financial objectives. Plan and direct the sales of the concerned exhibition/s in liaison with the Sales Director.
Key Responsibilities
· Prepare annual event budgets and forecasts
· Complete key account management strategy and program
