Job Description:


To serve the needs of the business, our guests and our colleagues by administering the day-to-day operations of coffee and hot beverages service in the hotel.

As Barista it will be your responsibility to direct and ensure the implementation and execution of policies and procedures as they relate to coffee and hot beverages sales.

You will create new opportunities to maximize and generate extra revenue, recommend measures to control/reduce costs, and ensure that the operational budgets are strictly adhered to.

The leadership team will look to you to develop and recommend merchandising and promotional programs to maximize coffee and hot beverages sales.

Additionally you will provide training and development opportunities for all team members in your department.

You will be responsible for exceeding guest satisfaction, standards and ratings for the coffee and hot beverages in the property and personally make recommendations, serve VIP's, and handle guest questions or concerns.


Qualifications:


  • College diploma in Hotel/Bar Management or related field
  • Previous experience as a Tea Sommelier
  • Previous experience in managing a team of bartenders.
  • Passion for teamwork
  • Extensive knowledge of teas and other beverages
  • Excellent guest service skills
