The Paint and Dent Foreman is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all paint and dent repair activities within a designated area or department.

This role requires
strong leadership skills,
technical expertise in paint and dent repair processes,
and the ability to manage a team effectively.



Key Responsibilities:


Team Management:


  • Supervise and lead a team of paint and dent technicians, providing guidance, training, and support.
  • Assign tasks and projects to team members, ensuring the efficient utilization of resources.
  • Monitor the performance of the team, providing feedback and implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, productivity, and highquality workmanship.

Paint and Dent Repair Operations:


  • Inspect vehicles for paint and dent damage, accurately assessing the scope of repair required.
  • Develop repair plans and provide technical expertise to ensure the appropriate repair methods are used.
  • Oversee the preparation of surfaces, including cleaning, sanding, and priming, to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
  • Coordinate paint mixing and matching to achieve the desired color and finish.
  • Supervise dent repair processes, including dent removal, filling, sanding, and refinishing.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and industry standards throughout the repair process.

Quality Control:


  • Conduct thorough inspections of completed paint and dent repairs to ensure they meet established quality standards.
  • Address any issues or rework requirements promptly and effectively.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the repair process.
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs, including documentation of materials used, labor hours, and job completion status.

Customer Service:


  • Interact with customers to understand their repair needs and address any concerns or questions.
  • Provide accurate estimates for paint and dent repair work, considering factors such as labor, materials, and complexity.
  • Communicate repair progress and timelines to customers in a professional and customercentric manner.
  • Handle customer complaints or escalations, working towards satisfactory resolutions.

Inventory Management:


  • Monitor and manage paint and dent repair supplies, ensuring an adequate stock level.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to procure necessary materials and equipment.
  • Maintain inventory records, including tracking usage and conducting periodic audits.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in auto body repair or related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in paint and dent repair, with a strong understanding of repair techniques, materials, and tools.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in using paint and dent repair tools and equipment, including spray guns, sanders, and dent removal tools.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with team members, customers, and suppliers.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highquality workmanship.
  • Solid problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to paint and dent repair.

Salary:
AED4, AED5,500.00 per month
