Job Overview:


Key Responsibilities:


Inventory Control:
Monitor and maintain current inventory levels.
Track, record, and maintain data related to purchases, returns, and inventory adjustments.
Conduct periodic physical counts of inventory and reconcile actual stock count with computer-generated reports.
Identify and report discrepancies in inventory records and take corrective action.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely deliveries.


Data Entry:
Input inventory data into the supermarket's management system accurately.
Ensure that all receipts, payments, and other financial transactions are recorded promptly and accurately.
Generate reports detailing inventory turnover, availability, and needs.


Cashier Duties:
Handle cash, credit, or check transactions with customers.
Scan goods and collect payments ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate.
Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers.
Maintain a clean and tidy checkout area.


General Duties:
Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure that the right products are in stock.
Assist in setting up pricing structures and sales promotions.
Respond to sales inquiries from staff and customers.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the storage and display of products.


Qualifications:

• Proven experience in inventory control, data entry, and cashier roles.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and software.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient in using computer systems, including POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, lift, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 25 pounds.

• Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:
