Description

• Work with Group to define andexecute Aldar Estates strategy
• Manage andsupport preparation of annual corporate income tax return and/orreview of tax returns
• Maintain controls byadhering to the accounting department's policies andprocedures and ensure Tax practices are in compliance with UAEfinancial reporting statutes, standards and financial reportingbest practices.
• Oversee preparation of transferpricing documentation
• Ensure robust taxcompliance processes are in place across theentities
• Manage the periodic and annual directand indirect tax reporting to theauthorities
• Closely monitor changes to taxlegislation across the region and advise on the impact of the newlegislation on the Business
• Identifyopportunities to optimize tax positions and to mitigate taxrisks
• Manage relationship and responses to Taxaudits initiated by the tax authorities
• Managethe implementation of relevant taxupdates
• Provide training as needed to relevantstakeholders within Finance, Accounting, Internal Control and otherdepartments.
• Assist with requests from the taxauthorities (updates on Portals, lettersetc.)
• Review intercompany and related partyreconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconcilingitems.
• Oversee and monitor all audits processfor assigned area and ensure timely completion of thesame.

Requirements

• Bachelorsdegree in Finance, Accounting, Tax or relatedfields
• Professional accounting qualificatione.g. CPA or CTA is preferred
• Min of 8+ years ofexperience of financial accounting and management accountingexperience
• Experience of accounting within realestate or related industry ispreferred
• Preferably with in-house experiencein an Audit firm (preferably Big 4 /reputedentity)
• Extensive knowledge of GCC andinternational tax legislations isrequired
• Exposure to Direct Tax, Indirect Tax,Transfer pricing is required
• Understanding ofUAE CT laws, CT registration andimplementation
• Knowledge of and ability toapply international accounting standards and ERPsystems
