Description

Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Structural CAD Draughtsman in the oil and gas industry, preferably in the Gulf region.
Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, or similar tools, with a strong emphasis on structural drafting and detailing.
Solid understanding of structural engineering principles, design codes, and standards relevant to the oil and gas sector.
Experience in designing steel and concrete structures for industrial facilities, including refineries, pipelines, offshore platforms, and processing plants.
Develop detailed structural drawings, plans, and models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Tekla Structures) for oil and gas facilities and infrastructure.
Collaborate with structural engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret project requirements and specifications and translate them into comprehensive structural designs.
Generate structural drawings for steel and concrete structures, including buildings, platforms, bridges, foundations, and support systems, according to project scope and standards.
Incorporate safety, environmental, and regulatory considerations into structural designs to ensure compliance with industry standards and codes (e.g., API, ASCE, ACI).
Coordinate with other disciplines, such as civil, mechanical, and electrical, to integrate structural components into overall project designs and ensure structural integrity.
Review and analyze engineering drawings, calculations, and specifications to verify accuracy and consistency with structural design requirements.
