    Job Summary:

    Join our dynamic team as a Category Manager for Dry Food and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of e-commerce in the food industry. As the Category Manager, you will lead the strategic planning, execution, and optimization of the Dry Food category, focusing on assortment strategy, availability, pricing, and promotions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Assortment Strategy: Develop and execute B2C and B2B assortment strategies, ensuring optimal availability, pricing, and strategic promotions within the Dry Food category.
    • Category Profitability: Drive category profitability by signing contracts, monitoring positive margins, and actively contributing to achieving topline targets.
    • Strategic Planning: Define the role of every category in the short and mid-term based on internal data, market trends, and shopper needs.
    • Strategic Partner Relationships: Own end-to-end relationships with strategic partners, focusing on P&L tracking, deep product integration, co-marketing efforts, and operational excellence.
    • Business Plans: Collaborate with top FMCG brands to create Joint Business Plans, supported by reports and dashboards for operational improvements.
    • Market Awareness: Keep a pulse on competition activities for agile action plans on assortment, pricing, and promotions.
    • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate results, measure success, and make data-driven adjustments for continuous improvement.
    • Customer Experience: Optimize product listings for search engines, ensuring an improved customer shopping experience.

    Collaboration:

    • Work closely with various teams including Marketing Operations, Advertising, Buyers, and Master Data to ensure seamless execution of strategies.

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in a similar role and/or in retail Account Management.
    • Analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude.
    • Perfect written and spoken communication skills.
    • Customer obsession and a proactive, organized approach.
    • Empathetic, inclusive, and curious attitude.
    • Mandatory proficiency in English and Arabic.

    • Sales
    • Front Margin
    • Back Margin
    • Stock Coverage
    • % Defective Items
    • Market Share/Category
    • NDPS (Net Diff Products Sold)
