Description

As a Supply Planner in Canon, you will receive and screen distributor purchase orders for monthly order processing and timely shipment to fulfill customer demand by allocating goods to the distributors appropriately.


You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Supply Chain department while coordinating and supporting the regional distribution centers of Canon Middle East; as well as providing support to Supply Chain operations in the Middle East and ensuring effective communications to facilitate optimum sales for Canon Middle East.


The Supply Planner needs to ensure an optimal balance between availability of the products for distributors and efficiency of the procurement function within approved guidelines.

  • Processing customers' orders, managing the picking, packing and shipping the items mentioned in the order and finally track and trace the shipment up to final destination.
  • Strong understanding of freight forwarding industry and delivery terms.
  • Manage customers daily inquires and provide proactive support.
  • Organize regular connect calls with customers and set action plans to resolve customers challenges.
  • Selection of transportation routes, and ensure the delivery of shipments in a costeffective manner.
  • Prepare all shipping documents in strict compliance with Canon sales recognition process.
  • Auditing and processing suppliers' invoices in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to supply chain continuous improvement and digital transformation projects.
  • Thinking outside the box to generate cost saving ideas.

  • Excellent command of MS Office (Word, EXCEL, PowerPoint, Access), working knowledge of ERP system.
