Job description
End-to-End Production ManagementTake complete ownership of the production lifecycle — from design approval to final delivery.
Plan, schedule, and execute production timelines to ensure on-time completion of collections.
Ensure production targets are met without compromising on quality or craftsmanship.
Design Translation & Execution
Clearly explain designs, measurements, construction details, and finishing requirements to masters, cutters, and tailors.
Ensure design intent, fit, and detailing are executed exactly as planned.
Work closely with the design team to resolve technical or production-related challenges.
Vendor & Fabric Coordination
Coordinate with local and international vendors for fabrics, trims, and materials.
Manage sourcing timelines, follow-ups, and deliveries.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure consistency and reliability.
Workshop & Team Oversight
Oversee daily operations of the production unit/workshops.
Allocate work efficiently across masters, tailors, and cutters.
Monitor productivity, workflow, and workmanship on a daily basis.
Quality Control
Implement and monitor quality standards at every stage of production.
Conduct regular checks to ensure fit, finishing, stitching, and fabric handling meet brand expectations.
Identify issues early and take corrective action to avoid delays or rework.
Production Planning & Reporting
Create production schedules and track progress against deadlines.
Maintain clear documentation for styles, quantities, and timelines.
Provide regular updates on production status, challenges, and resolutions.
Pressure & Problem Management
Handle tight deadlines, last-minute changes, and production challenges calmly and efficiently.
Troubleshoot issues related to fabric delays, manpower, or construction problems.
Ensure smooth execution during high-pressure launch or delivery periods.
