    Description
    • Handling of engineering sitequeries, technical deviations, change requests, monitoring ofcontractor work instructions and monitoring that the engineeringdeliverables are maintained.
    • Maintaining clearcommunication between Employer site organisation and Employersback-office engineering support team for all technical progress andissues.
    • Technical support to Employers Site Rep[2] as required including monitoring execution programme milestonesrelated to design deliverables and DDW work instructions anddevelopment of shop drawings related toexecution.
    • Build and maintain relations withthe contractor and maintain a collaborative approach wherepracticable.
    • Perform regular reporting toproject management on status and corrective actions if necessaryand when required.
    • Perform own verificationsand participate in the contractor's audits andverifications.
    • Ensure that mandatoryregulations, procedures, documentation and agreed actions arefollowed and documented. Further, that this is reported to theproject management.

    QualificationRequirements

    • Practical, structured, andanalytic.
    • Good familiarization with NORSOK /DNV and applicable standards for an offshore HVDC substationlocated in UK waters.
    • Fluent in English and hasgood verbal and written communicationskills.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with theability to work effectively both within a team environment and withlimited supervision, ability to takelead.
    • Ability to handle complex specifications,including Employers Requirements.
    • Self-drivenwith demonstrated high degree of autonomy and pro-activemindset.
    • Ability to prioritize, work underpressure and to meet strict deadlines in a fast track complex majorproject.
    • Strong working knowledge of MicrosoftOffice Suite e.g. Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
    • Good knowledge of NavisWorks, ACAD, E3Dor other 3D model tool suites etc. isbeneficial.
    • Strong experiences on similarprojects working with engineering document management systems(EDMS).
