Description
As a Curtains Stitcher, your primary responsibility is to fabricate and assemble curtains according to provided specifications and designs.

This role requires proficiency in sewing and stitching techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various fabrics and materials.

You will collaborate closely with designers, decorators, or clients to ensure that the final product meets their expectations and requirements.


  • Interpret and follow design specifications, patterns, and instructions for curtain production.
  • Operate sewing machines and other tools to stitch curtains accurately and efficiently.
  • Cut fabrics to the required measurements and shapes, ensuring precision and mínimal waste.
  • Select appropriate thread, needles, and other sewing supplies for each project.
  • Inspect finished curtains for quality and consistency, making any necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Collaborate with designers, decorators, or clients to understand their preferences and requirements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage of materials and equipment.
  • Follow safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Keep inventory of fabrics, threads, and other supplies, and reorder items as needed.
  • Stay updated on new sewing techniques, materials, and equipment to improve efficiency and quality of work.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a seamstress, tailor, or curtains stitcher.
  • Proficiency in sewing, stitching, and pattern making.
  • Knowledge of different types of fabrics, their properties, and how to work with them.
  • Ability to read and interpret design specifications, patterns, and instructions.
  • Attention to detail and precision in measuring, cutting, and stitching.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients and team members.
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to stand for extended periods and manipulate fabric and equipment.
  • Time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Flexibility to adapt to different styles, designs, and production requirements.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in sewing or tailoring is a plus.

Salary:
AED1, AED2,500.00 per month
