    About the Role:

    As a Product Manager for our clients' Fintech App and other digital assets, you will play a pivotal role in leading the development, enhancement, and expansion of their digital financial platform across 14 African countries.

    You will be responsible for understanding market dynamics, user needs, and technology trends to drive the product roadmap and deliver innovative solutions that empower users to manage their finances effectively.

    Product Strategy Development:


    Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the App and other digital assets in alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.

    Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and user feedback analysis to identify key trends, insights, and opportunities.


    Product Planning and Execution:


    Collaborate with cross-functional teams including user experience, business analysist, engineering, tech ops, marketing, and business operations across to prioritise features, enhancements, and releases based on business impact and user value.

    Define clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to guide the development process.
    Drive the Agile product development process, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality features and releases.


    User Experience and Design:
    Champion user-centric design principles and ensure a seamless, intuitive, and engaging user experience across web and mobile platforms.
    Work closely with UX/UI designers to create wireframes, prototypes, and mock-ups that effectively communicate product concepts and functionality.


    Analytics and Optimisation:
    Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure product performance, user engagement, and customer satisfaction.
    Use data-driven insights, A/B testing, and user feedback to identify areas for improvement and optimise the product experience.


    Stakeholder Management:
    Communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress updates to stakeholders including senior management, investors, and external partners.

    Collaborate with business development teams to explore strategic partnerships and integrations that enhance the value proposition of the FINTEC App.


    Market Expansion and Localisation:
    Drive expansion efforts into new African markets, considering regulatory requirements, cultural nuances, and local market dynamics.
    Collaborate with regional teams to localise the product offering, content, and marketing initiatives to cater to diverse audience segments.


    Requirements:
    Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
    Proven experience (10+ years) in product management roles, preferably in the Fintech industry or digital banking sector.
    Strong understanding of financial services, payments, and digital banking trends in the African market.

    Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Asana, Trello, or etcProficiency in digital marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Firebase, AppsFlyer, WebEngageetc.

    Familiar with agile way of working.
    Experience working in cross-functional Agile teams, with a track record of successfully launching and iterating on digital products.
    Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
    Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
    Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and driving positive impact in emerging markets.
