    We are seeking a dynamic andresults-driven Sales Director to join our team. This role iscentral to the growth and success of our luxury hospitalitybusiness. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in thehotel and resort industry, with a proven track record in salesstrategy development, business development, customer relationshipmanagement, negotiation, and sales planning. As a leader, you willguide our sales team, penetrate key business activities within themarketplace, and find profitable ways to bring this business to ourhotel.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement robust salesstrategies to drive revenue growth andprofitability.
    • Lead and manage the sales teamto achieve sales targets and expand our customerbase.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-lastingcustomer relationships by understanding their needs and providingexcellent service.
    • Conduct market research toidentify selling possibilities and evaluate customerneeds.
    • Prepare annual budgets and salesforecasts, reporting to the management team on trends, results, andprojections.
    • Negotiate contracts and closeagreements to maximize profits.
    • Ensure thehotel's service standards, guest relations, and etiquetteare upheld to maintain our luxury hospitalityreputation.
    • Identify emerging markets andmarket shifts while being fully aware of new products andcompetition status.
    • Work closely with otherdepartment heads and staff to ensure sales strategies align withthe overall company goals.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in asales leadership role within the luxury hospitality, hotel, orresort industry.
    • Proven ability to drive thesales process from plan to close.
    • Demonstratedability to communicate, present, and influence credibly andeffectively at all levels of theorganization.
    • Proven ability to articulate thedistinct aspects of products and services and position them againstcompetitors.
    • Demonstrable experience indeveloping strategic business and salesplans.
    • Strong business sense and industryexpertise.
    • Excellent mentoring, coaching, andpeople management skills.
    • Outstandingnegotiation and sales planningskills.
    • Proficiency in sales forecasting,market research, and budgeting.
    • Solid knowledgeof hotel service standards, guest relations, andetiquette.
    • Ability to penetrate key businessactivities within the marketplace and find profitable ways to bringthis business to the hotel.
    • Proven ability tomanage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention todetail.
