    Description
    • Adopt a"Service-Oriented" approach in carrying out ofduties:
      • Responsible for performance of on-dutysecurity personnel
      • Promote the"gentleman" rather than"officer" image for securityservices
      • Protect the safety of guests, staff,their properties and those belonging to theHotel;
      • Act as a host of the hotel by greetingguests and offering assistance (e.g.directions)
    • Training ofnew Loss Prevention Officers to impart job knowledge andskills
    • Inspect and brief his/her reports toensure they are neat and tidy in appearance and up to date withday-to-day activities
    • Enforce discipline amongreports and warn or counsel on incidents ofindiscipline
    • Conduct regular checks on all"field" officers to assure they are alert andcarrying out their duties efficiently andeffectively
    • Conduct investigations and prepareaccompanying investigation reports for cases which occur within theHotel involving:
      • Criminal acts, losses oraccidents caused to lives and properties
      • Staffmisconduct
      • Cases affecting guests or staff thatare of concern toManagement
    • Surveillanceof hotel staff:
      • Ensure that they abide by HouseRules
      • Keep tag on movements of staff who areclassified as suspects underinvestigations
    • Keep peaceand order within the premises of the Hotel in dealing withcriminals, trespassers or difficultcharacters
    • Keep the Director of Securityconstantly posted on all matters of security interest affecting theHotel and the Department.
    • Conduct regular andperiodical checks and take immediate follow-up action to rectifyfaults, damage etc. detailed in thefollowing:
      • "Perimeterdefense": all fire exit doors, link doors, etc., leadingINTO or OUT of the Hotel and which are fitted with locking devicesor alarm systems to ensure they are in good working condition as aneffective measure against trespassers andpilferage
      • Fire-fighting equipment, walkietalkies, CCTV equipment, office operatingforms
      • Update and complete all security onlineapplications, new security training, security'sID's, renewal and all newregistration.
