Description
Monitoring and implementing the site as per Client HSE Manual, ADEHMS, Code of Practice and OSHAS 18001,140001& 45001 standards.

Undertake Environment, Health and Safety Inspections of the workplace that ensure all work activities are in full compliance with LEC HSE Standards

  • Coordination with external auditors, management& Staff members for any safety gaps to full fill the deadline for corrective and preventive action.
Prepare effective Environment and Safety reports complete with required action plans and closeout responsibilities of the site teams.

Closely monitor the 'close-out' actions required from management and supervision to eliminate and reduce workplace accident and incident potentials.

Ensure identified site staff complete their roles, responsibilities and required documentation as detailed in the site OHSE plan.


Be suitably prepared for in-house and external OHSE audits and to ensure timely closeout of required observations and non-conformances identified.


Ensure all activities are included in the Risk assessment process to establish safe systems of work which are in compliance with LBS HSE Management System and common standards.

Monitor compliance with company standards and the control measures as detailed in site specific risk assessments and method statements.


Ensure appropriate emergency personnel, procedures and resources exist and the projects and work areas are prepared for the potential emergency situations required.

Ensure lifting operations are planned, resourced, and carried out safely by the project team.

Ensure systems for the management of temporary works are implemented.

Ensure site OHSE Induction programs are established, delivered and recorded.

Ensure site safety meetings are held and minuted.

Ensure effective accident / incident reporting and investigation is carried out complete with agreeing and communicating required preventative measures.


Ensure the projects or work areas do not expose the general public and other Contractors to risks from the companies undertaking.


To ensure permit to work systems are identified and implemented by the site teams for high risk activities and processes and that included control measures are suitable and sufficient and complied as per LBS HSEM.

To ensure adequate resources and competencies to achieve the required health & safety performance are available. Including assistance in promotion, development, organization and delivery of health & safety training, instructions and communications.

Provide recommendations for the continuing development of the HSEMS and participating in development as requested by the HSE Manager.


Maintain an up to date knowledge of all environmental, health and safety matters relevant to HSE Management System and Legal Requirements.


Requirements:


  • IOSH/OSHA certification
  • NEBOSH added advantage
  • Technical Diploma
An understanding of


OHSAS:
18001 and


ISO:
14001


Salary:
From AED5,000.00 per month
