    Position Summary

    Malaak is seeking a compassionate and experienced Elderly Care Nurse to join our in‑home care team. The ideal candidate should be a nursing graduate, or have an RN license with practical experience in elderly care.

    This role is perfect for someone who values patient‑centered care and is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for elderly clients in their homes.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Direct Elderly Care: Provide high‑quality, compassionate care to elderly clients, including assistance with daily living activities, personal hygiene, mobility support, and meal preparation. Monitor vital signs and address basic healthcare needs with accuracy.
    • Care Planning: Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans, tailored to meet each client's unique health requirements and personal preferences.

    Family Education:

    Offer guidance and support to families, educating them on elder care techniques, proper use of medical equipment, and ongoing care needs.


    • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures, ensuring a safe and clean environment for clients. Maintain up‑to‑date documentation of care provided in compliance with homecare standards.
    Qualifications


    Certification and Education:

    • Nursing graduate (Bachelor's degree or diploma) with experience in elderly care. (or)
    • Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in elderly care.

    Experience:
    A minimum of 2 years in a healthcare setting focused on elderly or homecare services.

    Skills and Competencies

    • Strong understanding of elderly care needs, including chronic condition management and personal assistance.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate, patient‑centered approach.
    • Ability to work independently and provide high‑quality care in a home setting.
