Description
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team.- Provide expert legal advice and guidance to the organization on a wide range of legal matters, including corporate governance, contracts, regulatory compliance, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, and employment law.
- Provide expert legal advice in labor cases and handle cases related to the Ministry of Labor to protect and safeguard the interests of the organization.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support the legal team in case preparation, regulatory compliance, and contract negotiations.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various legal documents, contracts, agreements, and other legal instruments to protect the company's interests.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, and stay up to date with changes in relevant legal and regulatory frameworks.
- Identify and assess legal risks, develop risk mitigation strategies, and provide recommendations to senior management to minimize legal exposure.
- Collaborate with internal departments, external counsel, government authorities, and other stakeholders to address legal issues and manage legal projects effectively.
- Support the legal team in due diligence exercises, corporate restructuring, and other strategic initiatives.
- Assist in the management of legal disputes, litigation, and alternative dispute resolution processes.
- Develop and implement legal policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance legal compliance and operational efficiency.
- Stay abreast of legal developments and trends in the holding company industry and provide proactive advice to senior management.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Law from a reputable university. A Master's degree in Law or a relevant field is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role, preferably within a holding company or corporate legal department.
- Thorough knowledge of UAE labor laws, corporate laws and regulations is essential. Familiarity with international legal frameworks is advantageous.
- Fluency in English is required and Arabic is a must.
Skills required:
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of corporate law and procedures.
- Full comprehension of the influences of the external environment of a corporation.
- Demonstrated ability to create legal defensive or proactive strategies.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
- Sound judgement and ability to analyze situations and information.
- Outstanding communication skills.
