- Interpreting blueprints todetermine the shape, size, color and thickness of glass forinstallation procedures.
- Measuring and markinglines or patterns on glass beforecutting.
- Cutting glass to size andspecifications in the workshop and on the jobsite.
- Measuring, cutting and fitting anti-glarefilm to glass if required.
- Loading glass ormirror fittings onto delivery trucks for transport to jobsite.
- Driving trucks to job sites and unloadingglass and materials.
- Fabricating and installingmoldings for glass installation.
- Cutting andremoving broken glass prior to newinstallation.
- Operating hoists or cranes withsuction cups to lift heavy glassunits.
- Cleaning the job area once glass hasbeen installed and the client issatisfied.
