On behalf of our client, we are hiring "Assistant Accountant - Invoicing and Costing".

It's an entry-level position.


Currently, we are looking for a passionate and energetic Assistant Senior Accountant - Invoicing and Costing to join our Finance Department.

job costing is done as agreed with vendor for the services rendered.

Key Responsibilities


  • Receive job files, verify the files against costs incurred and ensue completeness of back up documentation.
  • Accurately invoice the charges for services rendered as per agreed rates with the customer. Ensure that copy of -ad hoc rates, if
any, as agreed upon by the customer is available in the file.

  • Check the profitability of job files and ensure approval is attached from supervisors where the job file is at loss.
  • Generate the invoices for all job files accurately and process all files daily thereby keeping pending issues to the minimum.
  • Ensure billed jobs costs are booked on a daily basis.
  • Prepare the customized invoicing statements for specified customers within the agreed timeline., wherever necessary and
instructed by customer/ supervisor,

  • Systematically file the invoices and the job files, forward them to despatch in a daily basis and attend to all queries raised in an
effective manner.

  • Review instructions from credit controller on credit hold issues of customers on a daily basis and follow the same in a timely
manner.

  • Prepare pending jobs for invoicing and effectively follow up with operations for the necessary files (in case of accountant/ assistant
senior accountant)


Requirements:


1-Job Skills, Qualifications & Experience:
2-Bachelor's degree in accountancy, finance, or equivalent
3-A minimum of 1-2 years of relevant work experience in receivables (for Assistant Senior Accountant 3 years of relevant work
experience)
4-Knowledge of logistic industry preferable
5-Good analytical and problem solving skills
6-Proactive and able to work under pressure
7-Assertive, persistent and able to challenge
8-Previous work experience in using MS Tools
9-Good communication skills
