    1. Teaching & Student Engagement

    4. Apply real-world IT scenarios, coding labs, case studies, and technology-driven learning methods to foster student engagement.

    6. Student Mentorship & Academic Support

    7. Provide mentorship and academic guidance, including support for projects, internships, and career development in IT fields.

    8. Evaluate student progress through various assessment formats, offering constructive feedback.

    9. Address academic inquiries and support students in overcoming technical learning challenges.

    10. Curriculum Development & Industry Alignment

    11. Contribute to the development and refinement of IT curriculum to reflect emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices.

    12. Infuse coursework with contemporary topics such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, AI/ML, software engineering, and data analytics.

    13. Collaborate with academic teams to promote interdisciplinary, project-based, and experiential learning strategies.

    14. Research & Scholarly Contribution

    15. Conduct and publish research in relevant areas of computer science and information technology.

    16. Supervise student research and support scholarly initiatives within the department.

    17. Actively participate in academic conferences, workshops, and collaborative research efforts.

    18. Academic Administration & Governance

    19. Participate in academic committees, departmental meetings, and institutional development initiatives.

    20. Maintain accurate academic records including attendance, grading, and course documentation.
    21. Support quality assurance processes, accreditation efforts, and compliance with academic standards and institutional policies.

    Qualifications & Skills Required

    Educational Requirements

    • Minimum: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
    • Preferred: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant discipline.

    Experience & Expertise

    • At least 2–5 years of teaching experience at the tertiary level.
    • Expertise in one or more IT-related areas such as Programming, Data Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Cloud Computing, or Database Systems.
    • Professional certifications and industry experience are highly valued.

    Technical & Soft Skills

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong presentation, technical demonstration, and classroom management abilities.
    • Proficiency with programming languages, development tools, educational technologies, and LMS platforms.
    • Commitment to research, continuous learning, and student-centered pedagogy.
    • Collaborative mindset and ability to thrive in a multicultural academic environment.
