CBTC Signalling Assessor (ISA) - GCC Region
EWI have an exciting opportunity for CBTC Signalling Assessor, to join a leading European Engineering Consultancy to join a prestigious Rail project in the Middle East


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct safety assessments for Communication-Based Train Control (CBTC) Signalling systems on a rail project in the GCC region.
  • Collaborate with project teams, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Evaluate and analyse safety documentation, hazard logs, and risk assessments related to CBTC Signalling.
  • Provide expertise in identifying safety risks, proposing mitigation measures, and ensuring the overall safety of the project.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as an Independent Safety Assessor
  • Over 10 years of overall professional experience

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as an Independent Safety Assessor in CBTC Signalling projects.
  • Indepth knowledge of safety standards and regulations in the rail industry.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and contribute to a collaborative working environment.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to identify potential safety issues and propose effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with regional safety standards and practices in the GCC region is highly desirable.
