    Parsons is seeking talented Senior Landscape Architects to fill key positions in our Dubai-based MEA Design Center. The successful candidate will be creative, self-motivated, highly organized and passionate about design, and possess excellent verbal and written communications, the ability to lead and inspire small teams of designers and BIM/CAD operators.

    WHAT YOU WILL DOING:

  • Preparation, design and presentation of high-quality landscape concept drawings.
  • Preparation of technical design packages through to tender.
  • Contract administration of projects.
  • Liaise with juniors and plan, program and delegate within the team structure.
  • Coordination with other relevant disciplines such as Irrigation Designers, Civil, Structural, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Architects, Master planners and Quantity Surveyors.
  • Provide routine liaison with Clients and Client's representatives.
  • Prepare contracts within budget requirements and provide accurate costing information to the client or quantity surveyors.
  • Develop maintenance plans for completed sites.
  • Maintain affiliations with professional societies to keep abreast of technologies
  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of industry codes/standards/health and safety requirements and sustainability regulations.
  • Required Experience

  • 7+ Years of continuous employment within the profession of Landscape Architecture.
  • Possessing a team oriented and collaborative approach to landscape architecture within the design team.
  • A proven and expert understanding of the regional construction industry, local construction methods and their influence on design decisions.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality design.
  • Solid communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self motivated, an ability to work independently as well as being a team player.
  • Proven understanding of key design related computer programs such as Revit, Adobe suites and 3D modelling software such as Sketch Up and Rhino.
  • Desired Experience

  • A willingness to develop and further landscape architecture skills and techniques for the enhancement and efficiency of the team.
  • Competent and proven planting design and horticultural knowledge.
  • Professional chartership - CMLI / ASLA / ALIA
  • Minimum Clearance Required to Start:
