accountant cum purchasing officer

Looking for a young and energetic purchaser cum accounts asistant for our wood factory and contracting company.
Job Description:
- Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs
- Research potential vendors
- Track orders and ensure timely delivery
- Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities, discounts)
- Conduct market research to identify pricing trends
- Evaluate offers from vendors and negotiate better prices
- Prepare cost analyses
- Maintain updated records of invoices and contracts
- Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders
- Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition
- Bank related work and cheque issuing
Requirements and Skills:
- minimum 2 year experience in uae
- Bachelor degree
- Willing to work hard and put in extra hours if necessary
- Good understanding of supply chain procedures
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Knowledge of market research
- Solid organizational skills
Salary:
From AED2,500.00 per month
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Ajman: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
