- Must Have Early ChildhoodEducation Experience or certifications "preferred inmontessori"
- Using a practical, appliedapproach, teach courses that are in line with course and programgoals to meet the needs and aspirations of the students and thecommunity
- Develop and utilize variouseducational technology resources to ensure that effective andinnovative instruction methodologies areemployed
- Apply and create innovativestrategies to ensure that effective student learning is achievedwithin a second-language environment, providing continuous feedbackon student progress through a variety of existing assessment tools,including tests, projects, assignments and other evaluationinstruments
- Take a student-centered approach,providing students with individual assistance, and dealing promptlywith student issues by liaising directly with the student, programsupervisor and other College personnel asrequired
- Support and mentor students duringinternships and work placements
- Serve asstudent advisor as assigned
- Monitor studentprogress and take actions to support studentsuccess

- Ensure that teaching assignments areprepared in advance and that the material is presented in anappropriate manner to support student success.
- Develop course curriculum under the guidance of the line managementas per accreditation and international standards and maintain therelevance of the materials
- Provide input toprogram and course reviews and make recommendations based onconsultations with students, colleagues and externalagencies
- Contribute to the development of theHCT by monitoring programs and identifying areas for improvement;by observing and implementing College and system-wide policies andprocedures; and by participating in extra-curricular activities andcommunity events
- Ensure curriculum is revisedas appropriate from Faculty-wide assessment information or withindustry advice
- Develop an awareness of andrespect for the customs and cultures of HCT students andemployees
