    What does a Financial Data Assistant do at Collinson?

    This is a permanent and newly established position within the Finance Operations team based in Haywards The purpose of the role is to be a subject matter expert in all aspects of Financial Transactional Master Data, owning the accuracy of, ensuring governance of, and updating all master data elements within the Microsoft Dynamics System and banking

    Key responsibilities

    • Being responsible for the overall quality and integrity of business-critical master data as a shared asset, to maintain it as a trusted source of data for re-use across the
    • You will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of master data in line with business rules, policy, data standards and data management approaches; this could include new chart of accounts codes, new finance dimension elements, new project code set up, customer and supplier set up, admin rights on our bank accounts in use and other master data
    • You will be a point of escalation for data consumers to manager requests from the business or new records to be created and to update existing records where
    • You will collate business requests to support the change activities in the system for control review
    • You will ensure that all business service level agreements relating to master data are adhered to and where this is not possible, that expectations are positively managed with
    • You will perform regular master data random audits to ensure validity of
