Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive security architectures for Azure-based solutions, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of client data.
Lead security assessments and risk analysis of Azure environments, identifying vulnerabilities, threats, and potential security breaches.
Design and implement security controls and measures to protect Azure resources, including identity and access management, network security, and data encryption.
Collaborate with development and operations teams to embed security practices into the entire software development lifecycle.
Define and enforce Azure security policies, standards, and guidelines, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and client requirements.
Stay up to date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry best practices, and provide recommendations for enhancing Azure security.
Maintain documentation of security architectures, configurations, and incident response procedures for future reference.

Education & experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related field.
Certifications: Necessary certifications in Azure security and related domains
Minimum of 10 years of experience in designing and implementing Azure security solutions.
At least 4 years of recent experience in a senior position at a leading consulting firm or system integration company.
Expert knowledge of Azure security services and features, including Azure Active Directory, Azure Security Center, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Key Vault.
Indepth understanding of security frameworks, standards, and regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
Strong experience with identity and access management, network security, data protection, and threat detection in Azure environments.
Proven experience in conducting security assessments, audits, and incident response activities.
Excellent knowledge of security best practices and emerging trends in cloud security.
Azure certifications such as Azure Security Engineer Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or similar are required.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and clients.
