JOB DESCRIPTION:
JOB PURPOSE

Leverage advanced analytics and machine learning techniques to extract valuable insights from large datasets, contribute to the development and improvement of data products and models, and provide strategic guidance to the data science team.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Engage with business stakeholders and translate business problems into analytics projects; summarize, visualize and communicate statistical/ML processes and results for stakeholders; helps translate analytics outputs into actionable insights.
Formulates and leads guided, multifaceted analytic studies against large volumes of data.
Interprets and analyzes data using exploratory mathematic and statistical techniques based on the scientific methods.
Conduct exploratory data analysis to understand data patterns and identify opportunities for improvement.
Build, test, and deploy advanced machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
Implement statistical techniques for data modeling, clustering, regression, classification, and timeseries analysis.
Optimize existing algorithms and models to enhance performance and efficiency.
Perform thorough code reviews for data science projects and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Enforce coding standards and best practices to ensure maintainable, efficient, and reliable code.
Lead the process of selecting appropriate machine learning algorithms and techniques for various data science projects.
Develop and implement rigorous evaluation frameworks to assess model performance and generalization.
Conduct comparative analysis of different models and recommend the most suitable ones based on performance metrics and business objectives.
Develops methodology and processes for prioritization and scheduling of predictive use cases.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including engineering, product development, and business stakeholders, to align data science initiatives with organizational goals.
Translate complex analytical results into clear, actionable insights for nontechnical teams and senior management.
Present findings in a compelling manner during team meetings, companywide presentations, and client interactions.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

RELATED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Min of 8+ years in Information Technology in the Data science field in a large organization.

FIELD OF EXPERIENCE

Experience in delivery of data projects in domains of property development, Sales, Leasing, Customer Service, Sales Operations, Asset management, Mall Operations

TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS

Strong programming skills in languages such as Python or R for data manipulation, analysis and model development.
Strong understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies
Has knowledge of Azure cloud / Big Data engineering, SQL and data manipulation methods and tools and can perform these tasks independently.
Has knowledge of advanced statistical techniques and tools and can perform these tasks independently
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences
