    To advise and provide guidance to COC Teams and other internal stakeholders in matters involving AML & Sanctions.

    To report any material information to AML Manager and Head of Sanctions / AML & CFT monitoringJob DescriptionInvestment analysts collect information, perform research, and analyze assets, such as stocks, bonds, currencies, and commodities.

    Investment analysts often focus on specific niches to become experts in their chosen fields, such as a particular industry, a geographical region, or a specific asset class.

    Job Responsibilities


    Review and take necessary action on Payment Screening alerts (wire transfers/ trade transactions) escalated to L3.Review and take necessary action on Name Screening alerts escalated to L3.Investigate AML escalated to Le3 and liaise with business units for timely closure.

    Preparing of MIS related to Alerts Management. (Timely, accurate, presentation).Provide subject matter expertise within AML unit and to other business units.
    Involve in projects to enhance FCC Systems and other enhancement initiatives.
    Promote Teamwork & peer reviews.

    (Willingness to help, adaptability to team situations, sharing workload)Acquire required knowledge & skills and establish self as a subject matter expert in the process.

    (Should be exhibited through participating in trainings, acquiring certifications, providing solutions and opinions to team members/businesses on AML/CTF questions.)Continuous professional developments through training & professional certifications.

    Participate in Ad hoc projects and other responsibilities. (Willingness to take up projects and ad hoc work, active participation and completion on time.

    Job Requirements


    Exemplary knowledge on UN, EU, UK and US Economic Sanctions (OFAC) / Export Controls, lawsExemplary knowledge and experience of providing Subject Matter input for Sanction policies, systems and trainings.

    Ability to provide and deliver sanction trainingStrong knowledge and experience of having provided Sanction advice to all types of business and operations covering all types of customersGood analytical/review/assessment skills of sanctions compliance procedures and sanction screening systemsAbility to build constructive and effective relationships with peers and seniorsStrong analytical, written and oral communication skillsRelationship buildingSound judgmentStrong interpersonal skillsAbility to multi-taskIndependence of thought and initiativeAbility to be a self-starter and work independently as well as part of a teamAbility to interact with all functions and levels including senior managementAbility to prioritize workload and meet deadlinesAnalytical mind, good communication and self-motivated, detail orientedFluent in English (Ability to read and communicate in Arabic Language will be an added advantage)
