    Description

    Job Summary:

    The Business Development Managerplays a crucial role in identifying developing and maintainingbusiness opportunities for the catering company. This positioninvolves creating and implementing effective strategies to expandthe client base increase revenue and foster longterm businessrelationships.

    Responsibilities:

    1. MarketResearch:
      • Conductthorough market research to identify potential clients markettrends and competitors.
      • Analyzecustomer needs and preferences to tailor services and offeringsaccordingly.
    2. ClientAcquisition:
      • Identifyand pursue new business opportunities through lead generationnetworking and cold calling.
      • Developand maintain a robust sales pipeline to meet and exceed salestargets.
    3. ProposalDevelopment:
      • Prepareand present compelling proposals and presentations to prospectiveclients.
      • Collaborate with internalteams to customize catering solutions that meet clientrequirements.
    4. NegotiationandClosing:
      • Negotiateterms and conditions with clients ensuring mutually beneficialagreements.
      • Close deals and finalizecontracts adhering to company policies and legalrequirements.
    5. RelationshipManagement:
      • Cultivateand maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensurecustomer satisfaction and repeatbusiness.
      • Act as a liaison betweenclients and internal teams to address concerns and facilitatesmoothoperations.
    6. Collaboration:
      • Workclosely with the marketing team to develop promotional materialsand campaigns.
      • Collaborate withoperations and culinary teams to ensure seamless execution ofcateringservices.
    7. MarketExpansion:
      • Identifyopportunities for market expansion and businessgrowth.
      • Explore and enter newgeographical markets or segments to diversify the clientportfolio.
    8. ReportingandAnalysis:
      • Prepareregular reports on sales performance market trends and competitoractivities.
      • Analyze data to makeinformed decisions and recommendations for business developmentstrategies.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or a related field. MBA is aplus.
    • Proven experience in businessdevelopment sales or a related role within the catering orhospitality industry.
    • Strongunderstanding of the catering industry market dynamics and customerbehavior.
    • Excellent communicationnegotiation and presentationskills.
    • Ability to workindependently and collaboratively within ateam.
    • Resultsdriven with a trackrecord of meeting and exceeding salestargets.
    • Proficient in MicrosoftOffice and CRMsoftware.


    -Bachelor s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBAis a plus. -Proven experience in business development, sales, or arelated role within the catering or hospitality industry. -Strongunderstanding of the catering industry, market dynamics, andcustomer behavior. -Excellent communication, negotiation, andpresentation skills. -Ability to work independently andcollaboratively within a team. -Results-driven with a track recordof meeting and exceeding sales targets.
