    About this job

    NielsenIQ's Sales team is focused on growing revenue, finding new business opportunities and market penetration. Sales is NielsenIQ's growth engine which is instrumental for the company's success.

    You will execute sales for new customers and existing accounts in own scope, securing a solid sales pipeline for IA/consumer products and solution and developing new revenue opportunities.

    You will be responsible for supporting a sales team in all business development efforts. You will collaborate with key stakeholders and other teams to support driving sales and growth across a given scope.

    Responsibilities

  • Execute sales for new & existing accounts in own scope for IA/Consumer products/solutions securing a solid pipeline and unlocking new revenue opportunities.
  • Execute against sales initiatives: attend 1-5 tradeshows, perform cold-call lead generation, and conduct permission marketing campaigns to identify potential clients, qualify and generate sales, conduct software demos
  • Act in a Specialty Sales role in support of the broader sales organization.
  • Self-starter to pro-actively prospect the marketplace to expand our client base and drive repeat purchases and subscriptions with buyers.
  • Use a consultative selling approach to identify client business need, qualify, probe, scope and sell in NielsenIQ services
  • Execute end-to-end sales process from feasibility analysis; including credit checks and pricing, negotiating terms, writing proposals, and closing the sale
  • Develop and manage relationships with unique clients and prospects.
  • Manage client relationship and sales efforts with recurring ad-hoc clients by promptly answering client questions regarding data quality, service offering and product delivery
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Manage sales pipeline reporting with excellence
  • Become proficient in NielsenIQ services, systems, and software tools.
  • Participate in team projects
  • Lead larger sales organization in territory and account management activities.
  • Leading commercial strategy and sales of NielsenIQ's solutions for new clients
  • Developing commercial elements of joint business plan
  • Developing NIQ account plan & sales strategy
  • Achieving sales and strategic objectives
  • Developing strategies to win based on client segmentation and product market fit
  • Building meaningful client relationships with client stakeholders and teams
  • Representing voice of customer to internal product development, product marketing, communications, and delivery teams
  • With a high degree of urgency, uncover and disseminate retailer, manufacturer, and competitive intelligence
  • Working collaboratively with other product sales leads & cross functional partners
  • Support to manager and broader sales team in business development and current account expansion efforts and acquisition of new accounts:Insights and story boarding/presentation buildingProposal preparation, pricing, RFP support, reportingInvoicing, contract management and reportingSupport Sales intelligence and lead generation
  • Develop solid understanding of our AAC solutions; our customers, their industry/business to support the planning and execution of sales plan.
  • Whitespace/Market analysis for potential clients.
  • Qualifications

  • Typically, 5+ years of work-related experience.
  • Sales skills and expertise in target scope.
  • Understanding of data analytics industry, business model, products, services and solutions.
  • Understanding of market trends and its interdependencies impacting customers.
