- To assist during preparation ofthe yearly revenue & expense budget.
- Toactively contribute to the Department's financial andadministrative activities to ensure that yearly revenue budgets aresurpassed.
- ADMINISTRATIVE:
- Toprepare and submit relevant administration tasks in a timely andaccurate manner such as sales call schedules, sales call reportsand monthly reports to the DOS.
- To participatein preparing the sales action plans, attend sales meetings; developnew ideas such as special packages, programs, promotionalactivities undertaken by sales department, F&B, spa andother hotel revenue centres.
- To work closelywith the sales team in the preparation of personal sales goals on amonthly, quarterly and annual basis and to complete a report andanalysis at the end of eachmonth.
- OPERATIONAL:
- Torespond to all inquiries within 24 hours.
- Toset up appointments and make personal sales calls, telemarketingand site inspections to all existing and potentialaccounts.
- To entertain decision makers ofaccounts in the F&B outlets of the hotel and to take partin promotional activities with them.
- To followup on lost business and bring information about them to theknowledge of the department superior.
- Tonegotiate with all customers and send out offers/contractsregarding individual and group business.
- Tocontribute to following the conversion ratio of the GroupDepartment.
- To be aware of all market trendsand share it to team so that a collective action can beimplemented.
- To plan and arrange business tripsto expand market awareness of the brand in key sourcemarkets.
- To attend the international fairs,roadshows maintain and build strong relations during theseevents.
- To consistently interact with keyclients focusing on high profile guests.
- Tomaintain an efficient customer database system (OPERA), this isessential in generating sales activitiesreport.
- To update customers with the latestdevelopments in the hotel and inform hotel management of allchanges in the customer profile.
- To seek outand target new customers, new sales opportunities and initiateaction plan to secure new business for theHotel.
- To assist Credit Department in followingup all outstanding balances of accounts in a timelymanner.
- To come prepared on weekly Sales andRevenue meetings
- To build and maintain goodrelations with all Accor Regional and Global SalesOffices.
