The Enterprise Architecture main purpose is to define and design the Enterprise IT Architecture and solutions in line with the organization / Digital and IT strategy and to ensure that these are fit for purpose, operationally resilient, scalable, and adaptive to future changes / growth.
This role is also responsible for ensuring an optimal governance framework is in place for the organizational Enterprise Architecture.
Operational Planning Ensures adherence to the annual operating plan for the Enterprise Architecture Section.
Provides inputs related to own Section in the budgeting process and ensures adherence to the assigned budgets.
Monitors work processes and reports key metrics for the Enterprise Architecture Section. Ensures smooth coordination and alignment with other sections in the Digital and IT Department.
Core Responsibilities Defines the overall conceptual IT architecture and technology road map and creates a blueprint for the IT Enterprise Architecture, in alignment with the strategic objectives of the organization. Determines the IT infrastructure requirements for the organization and undertakes capacity planning for existing and future operations.
Coordinates with vendors for product updates, new product evaluation, future expansion plans and scheduling cost and quality management.
Ensures that the overall IT Architecture caters to protect operations against IT risks, including unauthorized access to information, data integrity problems, loss of process capability and poor service levels and to achieve continuous improvement and competitive advantage by identifying security and stability needs.
Ensures availability of required infrastructure and software to end users as per organization policies.
Participates in activities related to the procurement of IT equipment, hardware and software.
Oversees scheduling, sizing, performance monitoring and equipment upgrades / replacements for all equipment within the organization, in line with established guidelines.
Evaluates new technologies pertaining to IT infrastructure to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
Supervises the setting up and maintenance of userprofiles and menus for the employees to support system users.
Performs any other functions within the scope of the job responsibilities. Self-Development Accountabilities & Responsibilities Define performance goals at the start of the performance year with the reporting manager and ensure that the goals are achieved during the course of the year.
Take ownership of his/her learning agenda by identifying development needs in consultation with the reporting manager and bridge the gap through training and onthejob learning.

Identify & assess the areas where internal controls and compliance need to be established within the Division Promotes a culture of adhering to regulatory and other compliances associated with the Division Guide internal stakeholders and team members in the execution of compliance policies and uphold the compliance requirements Business Services Governance Technology Development and Operations Digital Transformation Enterprise Architecture Digital Information Technology Security required EA certificate like Togaf or simillar.
