    Logistics Assistants areresponsible for assessing need purchasing receiving storinginventorying and issuing of all materials. The logistics assistantworks with the officer to ensure these functions are performedsmoothly. In addition the logistics assistant functions as asupport to the facility safety officer and performs complianceinspections regarding fire equipment refrigeration maintenance andmonitors contractual compliance with outsourced contractors andthird party vendors. The logistics assistant also covers the coffeeshop as barista when necessary.

    JobDuties andResponsibilities:

    • Maintainconsumable product lists including inventory counts expirationdates and supply locations
    • Ensure that allmedical and non medical consumables are property stored andappropriately secured
    • Ensure proper rotation ofstocks in relation to expiration dates ensuring that all materialsare removed from the clinic prior toexpiration
    • Order medical and non medicalconsumables to ensure supplies are available asnecessary
    • Organize physical and electronicinvoices for presentation to the financialdepartment
    • Maintain appropriate stocks toensure adequate supplies in case of procurementdelays
    • Receive calls schedule appointments andmeet with 3rd party vendors for evaluation of consumables toprovide a cost/benefit summary to the Nursing Manager forreview
    • Assist the marketing manager in sourcingsuppliers maintaining supplier lists and scheduling and receivingdeliveries
    • Maintain a master list with contactinformation of all suppliers and 3rd partyvendors
    • Monitor 3rd party vendor cleaningcontracts and perform routine and random checks for compliance withcleanliness and sanitation consumables
    • Performroutine checks for fire equipment safety compliance measuresincluding dates and visual safetyinspections
    • Ensures proper notification ofappropriate personnel regarding official inspection schedulecompliance
    • Perform the functions of firemarshall
    • Open and close the clinic according toestablished procedures
    • Function as a member ofthe code white team and safety committees
    • Workas barista when necessary
    • Other duties asassigned
    • Understand and follow patientexperience metrics
    • Understand and follow HIPAArequirements when exposed to confidential healthinformation

    Requirements

    • Abachelors degree in a related field apositive
    • Experience in the healthcare field apositive
    • Able to work with minimal supervisionin a fast paced environment
    • Good timemanagement skills
    • Able to handle multipleassignments as required
