    Job Description:

    At Electra we need talented people that will share our strategy to be the obvious contracting partner for local & international players who wish to set up an event within the GCC.

    Under the guidance of the Chief Operating Officer/Estimation Manager, the Estimator's role is to support the CS Team in tendering and securing jobs by preparing the quotations.


    Responsibilities:
    Assess, understand, and review the use of different materials in fabrication, cost differences with each and the impact on final productAssess, understand, and review visuals/drawings from Client Services/Design teamsMeasuring the quantities and grouping the elements as per typePreparing a detailed BOQ based on drawings/information when one is not provided by Client Services team, mentioning all assumptions and exclusionsPricing detailed BOQ based using Library of Knowledge/working closely with fabrication estimator where neededLiaise with Project Management and Fabrication teams to establish cost-effective solutions to meet client budgetEnsure all project-specific elements are available and liaise with Procurement department when necessaryMaintain all of Electra's costing forms and templatesMaintain and continuously update Estimation databasePrepare quotations efficiently within the ERP system, ensuring seamless integration with ERP (Nav) for overall database management, creating brand new pricing codes, updating existing prices, working closely with both IT and Finance departments


    Requirements:

    Knowledge & Experience:

    • 3 years as an EstimatorHas a Bachelor Degree in Engineering (Civil/QS/Arch)Knowledge in Microsoft, AutoCad, SketchUp

    General Obligations towards Health, Safety and Environment:You will correctly use machinery, appliances, tools, transport, and all equipment issued by the company.

    You will correctly use personal protective equipment supplied by the company. You will not remove any safety devices for any machinery or installations.

    You will perform all tasks set forth by safety and environmental regulations and thus cooperate with Electra to ensure a working environment and condition that do not pose any risks in terms of health, safety and environment to others.
